Very interesting, Kev. I just listened to about half? of your last podcast (1/2 hour) It is something to "crow" about- well done (audio was clear; the pace may be a little too laid back, but good format.) I can see the show might meet a real need and thus catch on with your local listeners, especially as you have guests and interaction with others. You and Dan have a lot of good ideas for future programming (you already are covering good practical topics for Sunnyvale and there are many possibilities for the show's development. Are you being heard and receiving comments and input from listeners?

I am impressed by the great effort you have made to get involved with your community and to make a difference there. And you are! We pray the Lord will bless your efforts.

We admire how you are going about the search and both your attitude and faith. The Lord loves you and knows your need, so we will continue to trust Him, with you, for the "job". He certainly has not forgotten you; but many of us have learned that out timing and His are not always the same. He also has a sense of humor- the one other grad we know from Eastern, who was going to be a teacher, has become a successful, self-employed furniture maker, married with wife and son.

We are praying for you....hang in there!

You might want a calendar in front of you to figure this all out......Vicki graduates Saturday May 9th. The following Tuesday I have my huge paper due plus a smaller one and a presentation due in my Education class. Then my one exam is May 19th. Nate's last day of high school is May 29th with graduation the morning of June 8th. Andy emailed us this week to say that he put in a leave chit for June 3-15. He is waiting for its approval before booking his airplane travel. A month later Norm + I are hoping to go to Hawaii (!) for a week. We don't have any dates yet but are looking at the mid/end of July. Nate is going to Central Europe for 14 days somewhere between August 2nd and the 18th. Vicki, I believe, will be working at the summer daycamp again which usually goes until the first full week of August. (Vicki can you confirm that with anything else you have going on that I missed?) If/when she gets a job with the school district then she will start work on August 10th. I will start student teaching somewhere around the 24th of August depending on which district I work with. Nate will be heading off to college in September- ~3rd if Penn, ~15th if Drexel.

Abbie is in school until June 22. Caitlin hopes to be working at a summer camp from June 21 to Aug 8, and Abbie may be attending a 'camp' / pre-college for the month of July (mornings, all 4 weeks). Official paperwork is not done for either of these but are strong possibilities. We have plans with the 'Leffingwell side' for week of June 28th. So our August is the most open and flexible.

It was great to read your review of last year! Congratulations on being prom king- what did it involve? Do you have pictures of being crowned? Also glad to hear that you enjoyed tennis. Will you try to play tennis this year at school or will working prevent it? Sounds like you will be busy this coming year. Happy Birthday! Love ya.

What do you think the "protections" are that we should put in place?
